Job Description

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with HR strategy in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to operations partners. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, goals, culture and competition.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Upholds the Dungarvin mission by integrating and modeling  the mission in daily work and interactions with others.
    • Works closely with leaders on solutions that improve employee engagement and retention.
    • Analyzes trends and metrics to identify problems and root cause and develops solutions to address.
    • Possesses strong business knowledge and builds effective partnerships with business units from front-line staff to C-suite leaders.
    • Participates in business development and growth initiatives for  the organization.
    • Coaches and trains leaders on various topics related to employment law, investigations, progressive discipline, accommodations, leaves of absence, terminations,  employee development and engagement.
    • Collaborates with operations partners and talent acquisition to facilitate strategies to address talent needs throughout the organization.
    • Assists with change management for new and existing programs and initiatives.

    Qualifications

    MUST TO HAVE:

    • High School Diploma with 2 years of general human resources experience.
    • Broad-based experience in employee relations, Investigations, organizational development, inclusion and diversity, talent development, and performance management.
    • Must be knowledgeable in federal and state employment law.
    • Experienced in project management, change management, and data analytics.
    • Must have strong computer skills and the ability to work in multiple systems, including but not limited to an HRIS, ATS, and LMS

    NICE TO HAVE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
    • PHR certification OR SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) 
    • Experience specifically with performance management, coaching and developing others specific to HR
