HR Training Manager - Indiana

Job Description

We are currently seeking a very outgoing, dynamic, and organized candidate to fill the position of HR Training Manager for Dungarvin in Indiana. This is a full-time, salaried position. Occasional overnight travel may also be required for this position.

The HR Training Manager is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all training functions to ensure orientation and ongoing staff training is timely and consistent. The HR Training Supervisor would be responsible to monitor all training supplies, materials, and equipment and to assist in formulating the annual training budget. Additional responsibilities of the position can include the following:
 
1. Maintain a working knowledge of all regulations, policies, and service philosophies as related to staff training and ensure training is implemented in accordance with regulations.
2. Oversee the coordination of new employee orientation and training for all existing staff.
3. Ensure instructor certifications are obtained and updated in accordance with training requirements and expiration dates.
4. Ensure training sessions are scheduled in each Dungarvin location to meet the needs of the staff.
5. Remain within fiscal limits for the staff-training budget in the administration of all training responsibilities.
6. Maintain ongoing, open, and direct communication with all staff in general, and specifically relating to training issues.
7. To willingly provide assistance and support in other duties as required.
8. Effectively hire, train, supervise and manage the training staff of the human resources department that report to this position, assuring an effective and efficiently performing training group.
9. Provide ongoing coaching and development to employees including but not limited to conducting performance evaluations, administering disciplinary actions, and providing opportunity for development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of human resources experience related to teaching, staff training, development of training programs/curriculum, and in-service presentation (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred

  • Experience working with individuals who have disabilities or in a long-term health facility preferred

  • Great time management and organizational skills

  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record

  • Current car liability insurance
