Job Description

The Director is responsible for the management and operation of multiple sites, programs, and personnel, maintaining high quality care and services, and coordination of organizational services.

Quality/Program:

  • Provide an environment that values the individual
  •  Assure programs are in compliance with all applicable Licensure, Certification, and Contract Standards:
  • Assure all services provided are of the highest possible quality.

Financial:

  • Be ultimately responsible for the overall financial management of assigned sites    
  • Ensure management of Consumer Finances as required by:

Personnel:

  • Know and assure implementation of all organizational policies and procedures
  • Maintain ultimate responsibility for the management and supervision of all personnel in assigned sites.
  • Provide coaching and development of all employees on an ongoing basis.
  • Promote positive teamwork.
  • Openly and honestly communicate with supervisory personnel.
  • Maintain ultimate responsibility for the development and implementation of a comprehensive training program for personnel.
  • Work cooperatively with the management team regarding overall personnel issues

New Business Development:

  • Be responsible for expanding existing Business units.
  • Be responsible for the development of new business opportunities.
     

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services Field
  • Minimum of Three Years Supervisory Experience
  • Minimum of Three Years Experience serving Children and/or Adults with Disabilities
  • Must have good decision-making and communication skills, be responsible, mature, flexible, and have management experience.  Prior experience in residential facilities for persons with disabilities is desired.
