Job Description

This financial and quality case manager position is designed to assist in the timely and accurate collection of case management revenue for services rendered in county contracts along with providing quality control of internal and external required documentation as outlined in the county contracts.  The position is also intended to collaborate with the case management team to ensure that benefits and financial resources (social security, Medicaid, Medicare, service authorizations, insurances, bank accounts, and other applicable benefits and resources) of each person in service remain current and are tracked to ensure accountability of delivered services as identified in the person’s Individual Service Plan. This position will create and review reports regarding utilization tracking and other quality assurance tasks designed to support case managers and supervisors in assuring county compliance.

Qualifications

  • Must have 4-year degree in a Human Service related field
  • Relevant education, training, and/or experience in financial and accounting functions (book-keeping experience, setting up or reapplying for public assistance or benefits, or business management).
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with social security and Medicaid benefits.
  • Experience tracking and coordinating service authorizations.
  • Experience providing direct support or case management to persons with disabilities.
  • Experience with CM billing and utilization software and tracking.
  • Proof of automobile insurance

All employees in this position must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, as this position requires an employee to drive a motor vehicle as a part of his/her Dungarvin work and a clear background check.
