Dungarvin, a national provider of services to people with developmental disabilities, is seeking a Nurse to help support the continuous enrichment and development of individuals with developmental disabilities in our adult residential facilities in South Bend, IN

The Nurse will ensure that each individual receives quality, individualized health care management resulting in their optimal health. The Nurse will act as a health/medical resource for staff and to ensure that the company is in compliance with state requirements and organizational policies regarding medical care and records. This position is full-time Monday-Friday from 8:30a-5p with occasional travel required.

The nurse will participate in an on-call rotation to receive emergency calls unless prior arrangements are made for someone of comparable authority to accept this responsibility. The nurse should consult with their supervisor in the event of a decision that is out of the nurses’ scope of practice and/or if the nurse is uncomfortable regarding the decision.

Qualifications

-Have current RN or LPN license in the state of Indiana
-1-2 years education and experience working with individuals with disabilities or other long-term care is preferred
-Acceptable background check & driving record check
