The Technical Writer Engineer will produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. Work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to prepare instruction manuals, how-to guides, journal articles, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information more efficiently for its intended audience. Collaborator, reliable, self-motivated, show initiative and can work well within a team and independently. Excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product, process, and the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Write easy-to-understand user processes, online help, and developer guides
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
• Determine the most precise and most logical way to present information for the most significant reader comprehension.
• Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
• Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
• Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentation.
• Review and copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
• Flexible and adaptable to manage shifting priorities and executive support presentations in a fast-paced environment.
• Standardize content across platforms and media
• Able to translate documentation and presentations in English to Spanish & vice versa.

Education And Experience Required

• 2+ years experience working in the field of copywriting, engineering, or project management
• English proficiency 90%+
• Industrial Engineer preferred
• Skilled in Lucid Chart, Gliffy, Visio, and Google Platform
• Skills in layout and design, data visualization, infographics, and visual storytelling is a plus
• Experience in project manager is a plus

Knowledge And Skills Desired

• Storytelling and editorial experience preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skill set. Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple deliverables
• Self-motivated shows initiative.
• Demonstrated creative judgment and design sensibility.
• Highly proactive.
• Takes ownership of projects, ensuring their quality and task execution.
• Provide and receive objective feedback proactively.
