Driven Local has an immediate opening for a software engineer proficient in Ruby on Rails. We’re looking for a developer to join our growing team and work to build new features. You will work on our client-facing reporting dashboard, which is responsible for tracking advertising performance, budget pacing, scheduled reporting, client payments, call tracking and more. 

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain efficient and reliable Ruby code
• Make strategic technical decisions related to new features and functionality
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise elegant solutions
• Be a key player in a small team with a fast-paced environment

• 3+ years of experience building web applications with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with the usage of SOAP and REST APIs
• Able to write clear and accurate tests using RSpec, Cucumber, Capybara
• Be able to take a feature from concept to production
• Understanding and experience with cloud-style infrastructures, particularly AWS and Heroku
• Knowledgeable in web technologies: Rails, Postgres, Heroku, AWS RDS, Git, Javascript, Redis
• Experience with Adwords, Bing Ads and Facebook Ads APIs a big plus
• Passion for application stability, performance and security
• Strong communication skills
