Do you enjoy turning technical expertise into clear advice for clients? 

At Drees & Sommer Nordic, we help our clients understand their buildings, manage technical risks and make informed decisions. We are looking for an experienced technical advisor who enjoys combining site inspections, technical due diligence and client advisory while helping colleagues grow through shared expertise. 

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to expand your role into broader client advisory and project management responsibilities across the real estate lifecycle.

• Lead and take ownership of Technical Due Diligence assessments, coordinating multidisciplinary reviews and conducting site inspections across a diverse portfolio of building types and asset classes 
• Act as the technical lead and trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on technical risks, building performance, lifecycle considerations, maintenance requirements, and investment decisions 
• Provide expertise within building systems, including HVAC, fire safety and related technical disciplines 
• Prepare, present and defend technical findings and recommendations in a clear, strategic and client-oriented manner 
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the building lifecycle, with opportunities to expand into broader project management, client advisory, and owner representation roles 
• Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities, supporting proposals and tenders, expanding client networks, and fostering lasting partnerships 
• Ensure successful and commercially sustainable project delivery while sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to the continued development of the technical advisory services  

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or a comparable technical discipline 
• Several years of experience within Technical Due Diligence, Technical Advisory, Building Consultancy or Real Estate Advisory 
• Hands-on experience conducting site inspections and assessing existing buildings and technical installations 
• Strong knowledge of Danish building regulations and contractual frameworks, including ABT18 
• Commercial mindset with an understanding of consultancy business, project economics and client expectations 
• Fluent Danish and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
