Job Description
As an experienced Business Development with Project Manager background, you will drive business growth while leading complex construction, logistics, and industrial projects from concept to completion. You will develop strategic client relationships, identify and acquire new business opportunities, and act as a key interface between clients, senior management, and interdisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies and identify new markets, clients, and project opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead the full sales cycle, from initial client contact and needs assessment through proposals, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Lead complex projects, taking responsibility for technical, commercial, and economic aspects.
- Develop innovative project solutions from concept through detailed planning and execution.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and ensure effective collaboration across planning, technical, and operational disciplines.
- Manage project planning, timelines, budgets, quality, and building permit processes in accordance with local legislation.
- Conduct technical due diligence, market research, feasibility studies, and business case analyses.
- Act as the central point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear and result-oriented communication.
- Monitor market and competitor developments and identify opportunities for continuous business and process improvement.
- Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and networking activities.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field in the Czech Republic are required.
- Experience in Business Development, Sales, Strategy, or Consulting, preferably within the Real Estate, Construction, Engineering, or Project Management sectors.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify new market opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Experience in preparing market analyses, business cases, and supporting strategic business initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with CRM systems is considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in Czech and English, both written and spoken; German is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
