Job Description

The Dragonboat marketing team is looking for a seasoned Head of Product Marketing to use their expertise in order to make an immediate impact for our rapidly growing SaaS product. A successful candidate will have deep experience in go-to-market strategies and tactics for B2B SaaS products, coupled with a strong eye for creating compelling technical and thought leadership content. They will come in, take ownership of product marketing, define the standard of excellence and help build a rock-star team. This position reports to the VP of Marketing.

Key Areas of Impact:

  • Website
    • Own our website, continually evolved content to educate buyers and position Dragonboat and the solutions, products and offerings we bring to the market
    • Analyze, understand and optimize the buyer journeys through our website
    • Wireframe, and collaborate with designers/developers to make changes to the site
  • Content Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for the business
    • Identify gaps and opportunities for content to support our buyer’s journeys
    • Collaborate with founder and leadership team to produce new content that compels buyers to engage with Dragonboat
  • Product Launch
    • Own external-facing product launches 
    • Plan and drive the launch of new products and manage the cross-functional implementation of your plan
    • Develop and manage the implementation of creative promotional tactics that drive brand awareness and product revenue growth
    • Enable demand-generation lead with strategic and executional support while measuring their effectiveness
  • Enablement
    • Create and curate sales enablement content (battle cards, tools, collateral, presentations, qualification documents, success stories, evaluation materials, how-to guides)
    • Lead development of sales training content and deliver field-based training with product team peers when necessary
  • Community
    • Pro-actively engage and support conversations that align with the community strategy
    • Evolve our community strategy in owned and 3rd party communities
    • Support influencer outreach initiatives and strategy including podcasts, discussion groups, book clubs, speaker recruitment

Qualifications

Skills/Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in the B2B products
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, information technology, and/or computer science preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology B2B SaaS products
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling marketing content and materials 
  • Able to operate independently and efficiently to manage multiple tasks, priorities and projects simultaneously and successfully
  • Results-driven – ensure that marketing campaigns fulfill strategic goals and drive the required business results, persistently seeking to improve business performance, with the energy and tenacity to address bottlenecks and barriers
  • Excellent attention to detail
