Job Description
As one of the first hires on the SDR team, you will play an important role in developing the strategy and structure for sales development at Dragonboat. Coming in on the ground floor, you’ll be able to help create the framework, goals, and process for what will become a core part of Dragonboat’s go to market team.
You’ll be the liaison between the marketing, sales, and customer success teams, responsible for identifying, attracting prospective customers, and qualifying leads. As the first point of contact, you’ll introduce leads to the concept of product portfolio management and move them through the buying funnel with a perfect mix of product expertise, sales savvy, and intuitive customer understanding.
Qualifications
YOU WILL:
Create pipeline for the sales team, connecting with prospects via email, social media, and wherever else on the internet they live
Be an email marketing whiz, who loves AB testing and conversion optimization
Smash quotas and continually raise the bar
Always push the limits, and never take no for an answer
Maintain a deep understanding of the entire marketing and sales process
Become an expert in the product management industry and the Dragonboat product
Document qualified leads to pass on to the sales team and create an executive dashboard for key stakeholders to understand results and impact
THE SKILL SET:
1-2 years experience in an SDR or email marketing role as part of a SaaS company OR a driven, smart, and eager-to-learn new grad who thrives in fast paced environments
Experience with mid-high volume email marketing / prospecting
A fearless ability to proactively engage new prospects
The skills to passionately and clearly articulate value/benefit
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A team-player attitude with a strong desire to help improve internal processes beyond just your day-to-day tasks
