Job Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, driven HR & Business Operations Coordinator to create a seamless end-to-end onboarding process for new hires as our team continues to double. As well as manage our finances and accounting.  Additionally, this role includes strategic planning and tactical execution for needs ranging from day-to-day operations, creating team alignment, and budget and vendor management.

 

You will also be responsible for continuing to positively shape the culture and core values of Dragonboat. You’ll be our go-to person for new hires to feel at home and prepared with all the tools they need to get rowing and succeed in their new role.

The role: 

  • Support with HR (recruiting and hiring) 

  • Create and continuously improve the onboarding process

  • Become a resource for the team for questions or discussions about culture and training

  • Keep team (present and future) accountable through feedback and open communication

  • Understand the culture and core values we strive for and exemplify them every day, being an example to new hires of our company culture

  • Provide cross-functional operational support as the team grows and scales 

  • Business Operations (accounting, insurance, trademarking)

    • Manage our accounting and financing

    • Responsible for paying bills (paying engineers, insurance, revenue reconciliation)

    • Oversee trademarking, taxes, etc,

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- 1+ years working in a Human Resources/ Business Operations/People team.

- Experience in HR - new hire training and onboarding. 

- Experience in Finance - Bill.com, Stripe 

- Experience in Operations- trademarking, recruitment outreach

- Experience working in Google docs/sheets

- Attention to detail (what new hires learn now will stay with them)

- Good communication: Provide in-depth feedback and quick responses

- Nice to have: Experience working at a SaaS company or software startup
