Job Description
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Capex Planning & Budgeting
- Assist in preparation of annual and quarterly Capex budgets across business units.
- Support variance analysis between actuals and budgeted Capex.
🔹 Governance & Compliance
- Monitor adherence to internal Capex approval workflows and delegation of authority.
- Ensure timely capitalization of assets and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support internal audits and statutory audits related to Capex.
🔹 Overdue Projects Management
- Track project timelines and flag overdue or delayed projects.
- Prepare dashboards highlighting aging of Capex projects and reasons for delays.
- Coordinate with project owners to expedite closure and capitalization.
🔹 Idle Assets Monitoring
- Identify and report idle or underutilized assets across locations.
- Assist in Analysing root causes and propose corrective actions (e.g., redeployment, disposal).
- Maintain asset utilization metrics and present monthly governance reports.
🔹 MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly Capex MIS including committed vs actual spend, project status, and governance KPIs.
- Maintain documentation for Capex approvals, project justifications, and asset commissioning.
🔹 Systems & Process Improvements
- Assist in automation of Capex tracking and governance workflows.
- Support implementation of ERP enhancements related to Capex modules.
- Contribute to SOP updates and policy refinements.
✅ Candidate Profile
- Pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) – Completed IPCC and eligible for Industrial Training.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) preferred.
- Interest in financial governance, internal controls, and project finance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
