Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking Lead for Engineering and Projects to play a crucial role in in supporting project management activities to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include assisting in collecting project requirements, preparing documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting project execution under the guidance of senior team members.
Roles & Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for assisting in collecting project requirements by supporting user departments in gathering necessary information. This involves documenting project concepts, layouts, instrument lists, and cost estimates based on identified requirements under the guidance of senior team members.
- You will assist in preparing User Requirement Specifications (URS) for instruments and systems by drafting them and obtaining cross-functional team review and approval. Additionally, you will aid in vendor management by obtaining system offers, conducting basic cross-verification, and providing necessary information to the purchase/Supply Chain team.
- You will be responsible for conducting Safety Risk Assessment/HAZOP during the project design stage and following the project qualification procedure outlined in the Plant Qualification SOP. You will also assist in coordinating with purchase and vendors to ensure timely delivery of automation systems and providing ongoing project support by monitoring progress and helping as required.
- You will be responsible for arranging and providing training sessions for team members and reviewing and modifying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on project requirements. You will aid in creating standardized URS for instrumentation and automation systems and ensuring all project-related documents are organized and accessible in a common folder or platform.
- Additionally, you will assist in executing projects as per finalized designs, including checking contractor bills and measurements, and undertake any other project-related responsibilities assigned by senior team members.
Qualifications
Educational qualification: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum work experience- 12-15 Years of Experience in Project Engineering
Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills
• Proven experience in project management and engineering in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Knowledge of safety risk assessment/ Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) study
• Experience with project qualification procedures and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
Behavioural skills
• Proactive leader and result oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
