Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Compliance Manager for leading and  execution of various compliance audits as per the annual audit plan. You will be involved in the assigned investigations and internal audits, and will play an important role in understanding, evaluating various controls and processes in relation to compliance aspects of the key compliance polices.  This position will work closely with other compliance team members and support initiatives from various subject matter experts and stakeholders in the compliance, legal, and finance departments.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Development and delivery of the risk-based annual Compliance monitoring plan and methodology.
  • Drive Compliance oversight through the testing and monitoring program.
  • Monitoring transactions of marketing activities involving interaction with healthcare professionals and ensure adherence with Global marketing code as well as local and regional marketing codes.
  • Integrate various data sources to gain comprehensive insights across compliance risk areas.
  • Conducting in-depth root cause analysis, identification of processes and controls which are working and not working and suggesting corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review, update and investigate data from pertinent data sources to ensure a high level of quality, accuracy and timeliness. Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance data quality is optimal or otherwise remediated.
  • Identify areas for enhancement of systems and controls operated by the company.
  • Use analytical and statistical techniques to measure the drivers of risk and effectiveness of controls.
  • Work closely with Compliance colleagues to complete ad-hoc analysis, question assumptions, define key metrics, design dashboards, and deliver compliance reports.
  • Participating in the training, communication, and sensitization of the aspects of Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (COBE) and other key compliance policies.
  • Preparing and presenting of key findings for senior management and recommend risk management strategies to address identified risks effectively.

Qualifications

Educational qualification: Associated Charted Accountant

Minimum work experience:

  • 8-10 years in a compliance or internal audit or risk management or related role.
  • Having knowledge of US FCPA and anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and regulations will be plus.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the general pharmaceutical business, showcasing knowledge of industry dynamics, trends, and challenges.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of control design and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and advanced technologies used in compliance monitoring.
  • Strong proficiency in conducting investigations and gathering evidence.

The Finance function at Dr. Reddy's goes beyond the traditional roles of monitoring costs, supervising accounting and creating reports. Deep into its digitalization transformation journey, the function works with all departments in the organization as a strategic partner and plays a major role in supporting management in its decision making.

The function is distributed globally and has business partnering teams allied to different business units as Controller and Planners. And, secondly distributed as multiple Centre of Excellence housed in Corporate office, such as treasury, Risk & Assurance, Taxation, Corporate Analytics, Investor Relations, GFRT and GBS.
