Job Description

FET Team member of Costing & Analytics team plays a pivotal role in 

  • Preparation of overhead rates and upload into SAP
  • Handling of Costing Runs (ACR, SCR etc.) in SAP
  • Review of product cost accuracy, trends, recons.
  • Reconciliation of fin. COGS with Costing records
  • Review/rectification of inventory valuation/trends
  • Assessing capacity utilization of production blocks
  • Preparation of a/c schedules
  • Business support in product costing
  • Preparation of analytical reviews on costs/inventory
  • Strict compliance with FSCP incl. Check lists 
  • Preparation of cost audit schedules & audit closure 
  • Other audit interaction/issue closure
  • Business Finance interaction/issue closure
  • Periodical true-up of accounting estimates
  • Own and maintain process documentation
  • Get reviewed by the Controllers Forum

Qualifications

An ideal candidate will be either a qualified CMA with 2-3 years of relevant experience or a semi qualified CMA or CA with 4-5 years of relevant experience along with the following skills;

  • Very good working exp. in Excel
  • Good SAP FICO user experience
  • Quick grasp of accounting implications
  • Analytical mind set & flair for numbers
  • Process orientation
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Team player and go getter
  • Sound knowledge of costing methods
  • Experience in handling cost audits
  • Outcome orientation
