Job Summary
We are looking for a Specialist - Business Intelligence to deliver end-to-end BI projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder requirements. This role will drive the design, architecture, and implementation of data warehouse and BI solutions, fostering data-driven decision-making and organizational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) projects, including requirements gathering, proof-of-concepts (POCs), design, development, testing, and implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of BI and data warehousing projects, from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• You will be responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of data warehouse and BI solutions, including database modelling, dashboard development, and reporting, leveraging best practices and industry standards.
• You will be responsible for conducting POCs for complex BI solutions, helping evaluate various options and providing detailed analyses of pros and cons to inform decision-making and solution selection.
• You will be responsible for identifying and integrating relevant data sources into the BI ecosystem, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity across the organization.
• You will be responsible for EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) activities to uncover insights and patterns in data, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning.
• You will be responsible for ensuring data hygiene practices are followed throughout the data lifecycle, including data collection, storage, processing, and reporting, to maintain data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• You will be responsible for improving your productivity and performance, developing subject matter expertise, and contributing to the success of the team.

Educational qualification: A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics or related field

Minimum work experience: 5 to 8 years of experience

Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in BI tools and technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or MicroStrategy.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with data modelling techniques and dimensional modelling for designing data warehouses and BI solutions.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning concepts for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices for ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.

Behavioural skills
• Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision, showcasing self-reliance and autonomy.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
