Job Description

Servers as a senior level air traffic control system specialist to assist the FAA in coordinating activities with air traffic requirements and operations personnel. This support includes: coordinating support for required technical interchange meetings and various program reviews; coordinating workgroup activities for ATO program offices; assisting in air traffic requirements development; system analysis; system/subsystem specifications analysis to ensure air traffic operational concerns are addressed and appropriate technical requirements are included; presenting recommendations/solutions related to short and long-term program planning requirements; developing management plans; assisting in training requirements development; and classifying and summarizing data for the preparation and submission of reports on a recurring basis. 

Qualifications

Associate’s degree with 15 years of Air Traffic Control (ATC) active, full performance level experience, or 20 years of Air Traffic Control (ATC) active, full performance level experience, in lieu of degree, is required. Equivalent experience in the U.S. Military or international control environment is acceptable.

Associate’s degree with 10 years of Air Traffic Control (ATC) active, full performance level experience, or 15 years of Air Traffic Control (ATC) active, full performance level experience is required, in lieu of degree. Equivalent experience in the U.S. Military or international control environment is acceptable.
