 We are seeking to recruit a Livestock Manager with good business sense to join our team and to work on a farm in Isinya.

• Planning and implementing breeding programs and implementing new technology that minimizes cost and enhances yields.
• Monitoring the health and welfare of the livestock
• Keeping records on the movement of all livestock in and out from the farm.
• Ensuring the farm is compliant with various legal guidelines and working to minimize the environmental impact of the business, for instance via waste disposal
• Managing any farm diversification activities
• Marketing and selling livestock into a variety of customers.

• Should be excellent in communication
• Should demonstrate a high level of honesty and integrity
• Should be proactive and self-motivated
• Should have more than 5 years’ experience in a similar field and position
• Should maintain a high level of honesty and integrity
• Should be able to demonstrate a proven strong track record of success in the livestock industry
• Ability to work with minimum or no supervision.

SALARY BUDGET: 40,000 Gross
