We are looking for a motivated and self-driven individual to join our European Procurement and Supply Chain Team as EU Category Buyer. This is an interim maternity replacement position, from end of June 2026 to January 2027. You will join an inspiring, high performing and international work environment that is driven, dynamic but also has a lot of fun. You will build strong relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

  •  Drive primarily tender activities in the area of proteins including preparation, commercial negotiation and European alignment
  •  Advise local procurement experts on tender results, coordinate and monitor its implementation
  •  Identify cost saving opportunities and lead until implementation and commercial impact on P&L
  •  As an expert, gain market intelligence across your categories and advise local procurement experts on market trends, risks and opportunities
  •  Be responsible for key categories including definition of its strategy and execution on all levels
  •  Ensure continuity of supply for your category groups and products
  •  Establishing strong relationships with internal business stakeholders
  •  Ensure appropriate and timely reporting to Head of EU Procurement and Supply Chain

Requirements

  •  7+ years of Procurement experience
  •  Strong negotiator with proven experience in setting negotiation strategies and conducting negotiations
  •  Proven track record of implementation of cost optimizations
  •  Expert in supplier relationship management along the entire value chain
  •  Extensive knowledge of the basic types of commercial agreement structures and the function and purpose of key legal terms
  •  Background preferably in the food industry or similar high speed agile, customer centric environment.
  •  Background in franchised business – is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  •  Fluent in English, any other language of country where we operate in is a plus
  •  Negotiation Skills, partner relationships and commercial acumen
  •  Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
  •  Excellent communication skills across all hierarchy levels internally and externally
  •  Must be able to work independently in a multi-tasking environment impacted by changing priorities
  •  Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as remotely
