Who are you?

You are an ambitious digitally-savvy Partnership Manager who is business-minded and is excited to be a cornerstone of growth in our fast-paced, international environment.

You are an enthusiastic individual with a proven track record of delivering and optimizing partnership solutions, including but not limited to marketplace partnerships.

As the European marketplace product owner, you will be responsible for scaling and optimizing our partnership setup in multiple dimensions to fuel our continued growth. You will have a direct impact on revenue by optimizing our existing marketplace partner network and integrations, identifying ways to get more of the current partnerships, working closely with the local markets and activating this to the fullest. You will seek and roadmap potential partnership expansions.

In your role, you will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer Europe and cooperate closely with the local CEOs, CMOs and IT teams.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Establish and own our European partnership- and payment solutions strategy and roadmap.
  • Be the primary point of contact and maintain strong direct relationships with existing food marketplace partners (Takeaway, UberEats..) and payment partners (Adyen, Paypal…).
  • Identify potential new strategic partnerships and solutions.
  • Help maintain stable partnership performance, prioritizes & solve issues.
  • Help grow the partnership business, and provide customers with the best experience, by pro-actively identifying and implementing technical and non-technical trials and optimization initiatives across multiple axis (e.g. partner promotional management, menu bundles, ranking, ratings, processes, services, pricing…)
  • Evaluate performance on trials with partners and local markets, resulting in a dynamic optimization roadmap.
  • Project manage the implementation optimizations across the organization, working closely with all internal local stakeholders, both technical and commercial.
  • Develop new partnership service/solutions concepts, establish and manage requirements
  • Internal interface with high frequency with all European markets for performance reporting and learnings dissemination.
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting and driving aggregator KPI metrics (order growth, ticket, conversion, retention…) for the European markets.
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting and improving payment metrics (CVR, errors %, decline rates…) for all European countries

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or equivalent. 
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience working with (food) marketplaces (e.g. as account manager, product owner, product manager, launch partner, etc) and/or online payment providers.
  • Experience working in an international environment with multiple stakeholders at local and regional level. 
  • Self-starter with ‘’can do attitude.’’
  • A keen commercial nose and a penchant for identifying business potential, and making it happen.
  • Experience negotiating with external partners.
  • Knowledge about ecommerce and CVR optimization.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize complex projects, while communicating with multiple internal / external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate detailed and/or technical topics to none-technical colleagues in a clear and effective manner. 
  • Curious and motivated by technology solutions and be willing ‘to get your hands dirty.’
  • ‘Get it done’ attitude ensuring you focus on solutions and workarounds no matter how many times you hit a roadblock.
  • Strong written & oral communication skills in (English), skills in other relevant languages (e.g. German, Dutch, French) will be regarded a significant plus but not required.
  • Data driven approach and able to produce reports and plans with a high level of quality and detail.
