Job Description

We are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our Chesterfield location on Olive Boulevard. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations, leading a team of associates, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, operational efficiency, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment while driving organizational success.

  • Supervise and manage daily operations of the facility, ensuring all procedures and policies are followed consistently
  • Lead, train, and mentor team members to achieve performance goals and support their professional development
  • Create and manage staff schedules while optimizing labor resources and maintaining service quality
  • Monitor inventory levels, equipment maintenance, and facility conditions; report discrepancies and coordinate necessary repairs
  • Analyze operational metrics and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions
  • Maintain open communication with team members and upper management; address concerns and resolve conflicts professionally
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local requirements
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating team member performance
  • Support customer or client relations by addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required by management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail, hospitality, food service, or similar operational environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and support diverse teams
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making judgment
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, or other relevant operational tools
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive operational improvements
  • Customer service excellence and commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Conflict resolution and mediation skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Preferred: Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Preferred: Knowledge of inventory management systems and practices
