Job Description
The Manager, FSQA is responsible for leading Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, and Regulatory Compliance programs to ensure the consistent delivery of safe, high-quality products across the supply chain. This role partners closely with operations, procurement, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, strengthen food safety culture, and ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
What You'll Do
- Lead and maintain Food Safety and Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with company, customer, regulatory, and GFSI requirements.
- Oversee product quality and compliance for assigned product categories across the U.S. and Canadian supply chain, ensuring ingredients meet Domino’s standards, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Own and maintain product specifications and supplier documentation for assigned categories, including product attributes, organoleptic characteristics, physical measures, analytical measures, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead product reviews and ongoing product performance evaluations, including organoleptic and analytical assessments, trend analysis, reporting, and follow-up actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage product quality incidents and complaint management processes for assigned categories, including intake, investigation, root cause analysis, supplier corrective actions, escalation, communication, and timely closure.
- Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert for Cheese/Dairy quality and food safety, providing technical guidance to suppliers, Procurement, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and FSQA teams.
- Oversee supplier quality programs, including supplier approval, risk assessments, audits, corrective actions, and performance monitoring.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety, quality performance, sanitation, environmental monitoring, and risk reduction.
- Partners with Operations, Procurement, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product quality and food safety requirements are integrated into business processes.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to cross-functional teams and suppliers to strengthen food safety culture, product quality, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology and analytics to improve the overall quality and safety of Domino’s food.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field; Master’s preferred
- 7+ years of quality assurance or related experience, in food manufacturing, or research and development
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills across functions and all organizational levels
- Able to identify opportunities, set goals, and work independently
- Extensive knowledge of cheese/dairy products preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with suppliers, internal leadership, and team members
- Strong statistical analysis skills
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) certification and strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures, preferred
- Able to manage multiple projects and manage time effectively with minimal guidance.
- Excellent knowledge of computer skills including MS Office suite of programs
- Availability to be on call to support product incident responses outside of normal business hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Travel up to 30% of the time
