We're seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Manager to join our team at 3239 Lemay Ferry Rd in St. Louis, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and developing a high-performing team.
- Lead and motivate team members to maintain high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction
- Assist in managing daily operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and cost management
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Support the training and development of new team members
- Collaborate with the General Manager to implement strategies for improving store performance
- Oversee cash management and daily financial reporting
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist in marketing and promotional activities to drive sales
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle high-pressure situations effectively
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food service industry
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (2 years experience if under {AGE}, 1 year if {AGE} or older)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance
- Strong leadership skills and a desire to develop and mentor team members
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality products
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math skills for inventory management and cash handling
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in business or related field preferred)
