Job Description

Assist the Maintenance Team Leader in inspecting, testing, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment in the distribution center. Performs minor building repair and construction, i.e., painting, plumbing, carpentry, and welding.

  • Hourly Rate: $39.50

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

(65%) Inspect, test, troubleshoot  and repair machinery and equipment

  • Monitor equipment to detect malfunctions
  • Discuss machine operation variations with the supervisor or other team members to diagnose problems and repair machines
  • Install and repair electrical devices such as transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters, and safety and limit switches
  • Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Install, program, and troubleshoot automated machinery and Programmable Logic Controllers
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC)
  • Service and repair material handling equipment
  • Monitor the main electrical panel and troubleshoot as necessary
  • Repair/maintain boiler, water heater, water conditioning equipment, and water distribution systems
  • Listen to and timely resolve customer service complaints
  • Must wear and follow Domino’s Pizza uniform standards

(15%) Assist in following established preventative maintenance guidelines

  • Update logs as necessary
  • Report major problems to the supervisor

(20%) Follow procedures related to all safety and government guidelines

  • Identify and document safety issues and report to the supervisor, develop a plan of action to resolve concerns, and following-up to ensure the problem is resolved
  • Monitor machines to ensure all levels are within EPA, OSHA, and other government guidelines

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma, GED, and/or Technical School Training
  • 3-4 years related experience and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled trade
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams; interpret technical instruction and diagrams
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work during a shift which may be scheduled anytime during a 24-hour day, over any 7-day period
  • Ability to work in a production/warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to stand, climb, and walk on a continual basis throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift from floor to above the head, to carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently, and 75 lbs. occasionally
