You might have heard about us but with a different name: Docplanner, Doctoralia, Znanylekarz,  MioDottore, Jameda, and many others. The names are different depending on the country we are located in, but we are all part of Docplanner Group.

It all started 10 years ago when we asked ourselves: is anyone in healthcare thinking about patients? We jumped in and we empowered patients by giving them access to leave and read reviews about their visit. We then provided doctors with the technology to manage bookings easily and save time, so they could devote themselves to what they always wanted: treating patients. Where does Feegow fit here?  

In 2022, Docplanner Group acquired Feegow, a health-tech company that has been in the market for over 12 years. We are dedicated to developing innovative solutions and promoting access to top-tier management for physicians seeking to take their practices to the next level, as well as managers in search of a robust solution that covers end-to-end operations. Our ultimate goal is to create a world where everyone can access high-quality healthcare.

How would you be impacting our mission?

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be integral to our mission of bringing the best healthcare solutions to our users. By optimizing our infrastructure and maintaining system and database reliability, the SRE will ensure that our digital healthcare platform operates smoothly and effectively. This will contribute to the overall user experience, which is vital to our mission of making healthcare accessible and efficient. Your role will involve implementing security policies, ensuring that our users' data is safe and protected, which is crucial to maintaining trust in our services.

As an SRE, you will be part of our technical team, reporting directly to the SRE Coordinator at Feegow and working closely with the Platform Engineering Manager at Doctoralia.

This project is very close to being a greenfield project, so you will have the opportunity to help deliver the best healthcare solutions by building and scaling our infrastructure, maintaining system reliability, and creating security measures. You will initially split your time between DP Tech and Feegow, eventually transitioning fully to Feegow.

We are looking for someone who will: 

• Implement and update tools and practices, including monitoring systems.
• Ensure the software runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to incidents, understand the issues, and provide innovative solutions to improve things.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain the system and make it reliable.
• Understand and address customers' pain points.
• Implement security policies.
• Integrate the tools used at DP Tech into Feegow.
• Scale the infrastructure for hypergrowth.

What will help you thrive?

• Good knowledge and experience in AWS or other cloud providers;
• Production-grade experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes;
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB databases; 
• You know why and how to use Terraform, Ansible, and popular CI/CD tools;     
• You are not afraid of developing tools or scripts in Bash or GO to automate work;
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple responsibilities;
• Entrepreneurial attitude and strong teamwork skills;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (at an Advanced level);
• A Growth mindset: nobody ticks all those boxes above, but a willingness to learn is strongly valued here;
