Job Description

  • Perform month-end close booking activities
  • Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Prepare statutory Financial Statements and related analytical reviews
  • Coordinate and address audit queries
  • Communicate and coordinate with various internal stakeholders (FinOps, legal) in order to ensure timely and accurate bookings
  • Providing quality support for internal and external financial reporting
  • Collaboration with local accounting teams (Luxembourg, Hungary, etc.)
  • Contribute to various internal accounting automation projects
  • Actively participating in cross functional project launches from scoping through testing and launch

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with an emphasis on accounting, preferably gained within a Big Four firm and / or a multinational organization
  • University degree in business/economics/accounting
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluent in business English
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel user
  • 3+ or more years of post-experience in Month end closing of books of accounts / working on various sub-ledgers / Accounting knowledge / Balance sheet reconciliation & Reporting activities
  • Experience in end-to-end financial reporting processes, including strong understanding of statutory filings, internal controls audits and their related requirements
  • Experience using MD365 (preferred)
  • Solid organizational skills along with an aptitude for information technology
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized
  • Ability to readily adapt to and lead through changing environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision making skills
