Job Description

The Alliances Manager is responsible for managing a global joint venture company within Byborg Enterprises SA and drive even greater results on a standalone and on a group level. The AM will work closely together with the Management team to identify and communicate the organization’s M&A strategy & priorities, focusing on business development, synergy opportunities, budgeting, and aligning resources across all companies. This is a highly collaborative role where partnership with various teams is critical.

  • Collaborate and build partnerships with global and cross-functional leaders to ensure successful alignment within the diverse joint venture companies
  • Align resources with business priorities, effectively. Facilitate trade-offs when constraints arise - quickly identifying and resolving issues as they arise, driving resolution in partnership with relevant cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate programs/projects within the joint-ventures and manage portfolio health, continuous reporting and status updates on the associated roadmaps
  • Review business plans, facilitate estimation process, and assess impact during quarterly and annual planning process
  • Communicate weekly performance reports for executive consumption; increase transparency of risks and opportunities to drive strategic M&A decisions
  • Strong understanding of the business and the technology to tell the „story” behind the numbers - demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into concise stories, identifying key themes and takeaways and present it back to Executives for decision-making
  • Engage with business partners to explore and execute on growth opportunities
  • Proactively manage partner expectations and change management
  • Build strong partnerships and communication with Finance to collaborate and create deliverables for forecasting, annual and long-term plans
  • Evangelize standard processes & reporting that increase adoption and drive decisions, while identifying opportunities to continuously improve
  • Support a growth culture focused on continuous learning and adapting to achieve our goals
  • Any additional task required by Management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, MBA is a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of performance and leading complex change for the business
  • 3+ years professional related work experience and hands on project and operational experience desired
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
  • Ability to make decisions in ambiguous or difficult situations, including when under pressure
  • Skilled in focusing on desired results, resolving is important and urgent, and lead effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired results
  • Excellent organizational change management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience with senior leadership and ability to deliver executive level summary updates, reports and presentations
