Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detailed oriented financial analyst whose responsibility will be to manage, collect and record commissions and payments from third parties. The role is based in Docler’s head office in Luxembourg and has responsibility for the controllership and accounting function in support of its worldwide operations. The accounting flows are operated in multiple legal entities with involvement of a number of stakeholders in different locations.
In addition to the accounting and reporting responsibilities, the individual will drive cross-border projects and develop best practice in processes and controllership on an international level.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Establish a standardized process for the collection of commissions and payments from third parties
  • Reconcile third party statements and payments received with accounting records;
  • Analyze third party commissions discrepancy vs commercial agreement and accounting records and fix issues in cooperation with third-parties;
  • Respond to third party inquires with strong focus on third-party experience and education;
  • Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations;
  • Communicated and coordinate with various internal stakeholders (FinOps, legal) in order to ensure timely and accurate payments;
  • Providing quality support for internal and external financial reporting;
  • Perform analytical reviews of third-party commissions and review with line manager;
  • Collaboration with local accounting teams (Luxembourg, Hungary, etc.);
  • Actively participating in cross functional project launches from scoping through testing and launch.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with an emphasis on accounting, preferably gained within a Big Four firm and / or a multinational organization
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluent in business English
  • Experience in end-to-end financial reporting processes, including strong understanding of statutory filings, internal controls audits and their related requirements
  • 3+ or more years of post-experience in Month end closing of books of accounts / working on various sub-ledgers / Accounting knowledge / Balance sheet reconciliation & Reporting activities
  • Experience using MD365 (preferred)
