Job Description

  • Research, curate, launch and optimize paid search (SEM) campaign options applicable to Docler’s adult web site products, with all SEM platform targeting options to be verified in advance and tested with unique tracking per ad source/ad buy. (Geo, language, time, day, ad format, audience, device, etc.)
  • Research and act upon traffic and sales information from all available data sets, including but not limited to each of the ad vendors’ buying platforms, Company’s MarketingStats ecommerce tracking system, affiliate data, Business Intelligence & Google Analytics accounts, plus all relevant 3rd party information sources necessary to create and manage display media campaigns for Company.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of SEM campaigns day to day, including all required optimization, curation and reporting efforts & collaborate with other SEM specialists & marketing colleagues to satisfy marketing needs for specific sites & promotional efforts.
  • Work within assigned product and specific budgets, while making constant note of budget potential, to increase or decrease SEM spend, based upon ROI. SEM advertising budgets will be determined monthly.  
  • Prioritize Google & Bing SEM campaign development according to measurable KPI’s and business needs, including cot per action, ROI, ROAS, campaign scalability, share of voice, etc. 
  • Maintain and deliver reports of SEM efforts weekly & monthly to leadership teams as an Excel workbook, breaking down ad spend, click volume, sales, effective CPL/CPA, and related key performance indicators per ad source and overall. 
  • Use Company MarketingStats trackers, tracking pixels and ad vendor stats platforms designated for these media buys & create unique campaign URL’s to proactively gauge sales volume and CPA/CPL for all digital ad campaigns under management.
  • Utilize all available data to optimize SEM campaigns’ reach & desired cost per action/CPA/CPL targets. The target CPL/CPA for each property to be advertised will be determined by team/company management and shall be adjusted based upon longer term retention & customer value data, as available.
  •  Reports to SEM Manager/Sr SEM Specialist (Line Manager), VP, Performance Marketing and to Senior VP, Sales and Marketing.
  • Continuously research and test SEM ad copy themes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred majors: Statistics, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in SEM/Media Buying mandatory
  • Strong understanding of SEM/Media Buying tactics, strategies and tools
  • Experience with advertising eCommerce sites, direct to consumer B2C/DTC
  • Experience with geographic ad targeting 
  • Experience in conversion/lead generation for high traffic websites
  • GoogleAds & BingAds active accreditations
  • Familiarity and comfort with advertising rules & best practices for heavily regulated & age restricted industries

  • Must be results driven and detail oriented
  • An understanding of, or experience of, all major search engines’ advertising platforms, rules, regulations and best practices for advertisers
  • Familiarity with requirements management tool, such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Upper intermediate English knowledge (B2) or higher, any additional language is a plus
  • Familiarity with keyword research & SEO/SEM tools including SEMRush and comparable
