Daily team communication happens in Slack in the form of a chat or a call. To keep everybody up-to-date with the overall development progress we have regular team calls. Once a year we meet in person to spend together some time full of discussions, coding and fun.

Job Description

The job:
- Prepare and discuss technical concepts
- Develop web applications
- Write automated test suites
- Perform code reviews and share knowledge with the team
- Work in agile environment
- Write technical documentation, specifications, and user manuals

Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 3 years of Python web development experience
- Profound knowledge of relational databases
- Love automated testing
- Desire to work as part of an agile team
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Team player
Bonus points:
- Knowledge of profiling and performance optimization techniques
- Experience with large code bases and high-availability web platforms
- Experience with full-text search, for example, Solr, Elastic Search
- Fluent in German
- Can travel to an annual team meeting somewhere in Central Europe
- Want to write technical articles for the company blog
