Job Description

Role: Redshift DBA

Location: Westchester, PA

Emp Type: Permanent Job

Interview: Phone/Skype

• Implementation and administration of AWS Redshift and AWS RDS Aurora, Postgres, MySQL and MS SQL server infrastructure

• Automate provisioning, monitoring of the database infrastructure

• Experience in setting up AWS RDS based HA clusters

Cluster maintenance including administrating, monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting

•Provide consistent database maintenance, optimization and best practices inputs to existing Redshift, and SQL databases and applications

•Experience in DR planning and execution with RPO/RTO objectives and SLAs

•Experience with SQL and/or any ETL tool such as SAP DS, Pentaho PDI, Alteryx, Apache NiFi

•Implementation and administration of AWS Redshift and AWS RDS Aurora, Postgres, MySQL and MS SQL server infrastructure

•Automate provisioning, monitoring of the database infrastructure

•Experience in setting up AWS RDS based HA clusters
