MUST HAVE

Demonstrated experience in defining and/or validating logical and physical architecture for a proposed application and infrastructure monitoring solutions, applying all relevant enterprise and industry standards Experience establishing, developing, and promoting standard architecture, frameworks and guidelines for monitoring platforms 3-5 years infrastructure monitoring and support (including OS, server, middleware, and network troubleshooting) 5-8 years of related experience working with several of the following technologies: Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, Windows Databases: MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Couchbase Frameworks: Dust/Angular, Nodejs, Springboot, RxJava Applications/Middleware: Nginx, Apache http, Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, ActiveMQ, Kafka Enterprise scheduling tool: Tidal, Control-M, etc. APM Tools like Dynatrace, New Relic 5-8 years experience with Open Source infrastructure and application monitoring tools, ELK, Zabbix experience preferred Demonstrated experience onboarding and administering monitoring tools for a wide variety of information sources via SNMP, custom scripts, email, agents, components, and plug-ins. 5-8 years coding and scripting expertise (Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, Shell, etc.) 3-5 years experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Demonstrated experience working with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Expertise in JIRA, Confluence Very self-directed, works proactively with minimal supervision Able to lead and mentor other Tools Engineers as well as provide training on selected technologies Driven to automate any and all manual tasks Very strong verbal and written communications skills Takes pride in being accountable, takes full ownership of projects, environments, and tasks at hand
