Job Description
- To be responsible for receiving Associates requests, complaints and comments in regard to the cafeteria
- To be innovative, suggesting new ideas, menus and investigating new ways of doing things or new services for our employees
- Responding to international culinary skills where each meal needs to have Asian, Middle Eastern, international food.
- To make sure the cleanliness of the Associates Cafeteria at all times
- To be courteous in dealing with the Associates' request in a timely manner
- Together with the Executive Chef guidance to review the menu on regular basis, complimenting all type of cuisine according to the nationalities of Associates
- Interacting with Associates to ensure an enjoyable dining experience and to seek any feedback/suggestion to improve the service
- Ensuring that all tables, chairs, workstations are organized and cleaned
- To ensure that any food handlers are wearing the appropriate gloves and hairnets to meet health codes
- Maintaining proper food temperatures for all food products in the cafeteria
- Monitoring the equipment’s cleanliness
- To make sure the live cooking, theme menu, festival menu/special occasion is served according to the menu plan
- To maintain a record of meal count on a daily basis
- To maintain the inventory FF&E of the Associates Cafeteria
- To follow up the daily menu effectively and manage the team within the staff cafeteria efficiently
Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years as a Staff Cafeteria Chef in a star class hotel
- Ability to speak, read, write advanced level of English
- Good organizational, planning and communication skills
- Good in PC Skills (MS Office/MC etc)
- Hands on approach
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
- Flexibility to respond to employee concerns, requests
- A passion for building excellent relationships with colleagues
