Job Description

Permanent position

Reporting to the Director of Operational Efficiency, the Logistics Systems Expert’s primary mission is to actively contribute to the integration of new logistics systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, OMS) in close collaboration with IT and operations teams. This strategic role within the Center of Excellence (COE) ensures the sustainability, standardization, and ongoing innovation of logistics practices as part of the company’s digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Systems Integration : Participate in the design, configuration, deployment, and testing of logistics solutions.
  • Process Analysis : Map existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
  • Documentation and Standardization : Define and formalize processes to ensure consistent adoption across the organization.
  • Training and Support : Develop tools and methods to assist internal users during the transition to new systems.
  • Systems Governance: Ensure the monitoring, optimization, and evolution of logistics solutions within the COE. Develop close collaboration with IT and operations teams to guarantee effective governance.
  •  Continuous Improvement : Implement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, resilience, and sustainability of the supply chain.
  • External Collaboration : Work with suppliers and partners to ensure the quality and reliability of deployed solutions.
  • Strategic Reporting : Produce performance reports and make recommendations to the management Committee
  • Innovation and Technology Monitoring : Anticipate trends and propose innovative solutions to keep the company at the forefront.

Strategic Role within the COE

  • Serve as a key contributor to the digital transformation of logistics.
  • Ensure the sustainability of systems and the dissemination of best practices.
  • Act as an internal reference for future projects and the evolution of logistics solutions.
  • Contribute to global process standardization and alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Participate in technology monitoring and anticipate trends to maintain the company’s innovative edge.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • University degree in operations management, IT, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
  • Innovative mindset and mastery of best practices in operational excellence.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time during implementations.

Required Skills

  • Technical Expertise: Experience in digital transformation, mastery of logistics systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, OMS), and proficiency with the Office suite.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex processes and propose innovative solutions.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to influence, coordinate stakeholders, communicate effectively, train, and support change.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Commitment to standardization, innovation, and sustainable performance. Proficiency with mapping and continuous improvement tools.
  • Strategic Vision: Understanding of supply chain challenges and alignment of systems with business objectives.

Assets

  • Advanced knowledge of Tier-1 WMS/TMS systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP
  • Proficiency with project management tools
  • Lean Six Sigma Training
