Discovery Land Company's club - El Dorado Golf & Beach CLub is looking for a Member Services Director to join the El Dorado team, on-site in Mexico.

Reports To: Club General Manager
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the supervision of: Membership Support Services, Club Concierge Services, Club Reporting, Company Reporting, Member Profiles, Events & Programming, Marketing, Residential Services support, and Sales Services support.
Job Duties and Tasks:
- Responsible for staff scheduling; schedules produced weekly during season
- Oversee all Coordinators, drivers and babysitters
- Schedule and lead monthly meetings for Member Services
- Work with the General Manager and corporate team on all marketing and event collateral
- Produce a monthly Member Services report for the corporate team
- Maintain department budget and communicate with Club Controller regularly
- Responsible for Morning Reports and Daily Summaries being produced and circulated
- Build relationships with all Members; relate that their happiness is your top priority
- Properly train and retrain staff as needed; conduct bimonthly one-to-one meetings
- Produce biannual reviews on Member Services staff; send to the General Manager and Director of Member Services
- Responsible for the coordination of reservations and activities upon request
- Support administrative functions for Member Services
- Maintain an updated list preferred vendors and service providers
- Responsible for updating and maintaining Member profiles, preferences, photos, etc.
- Book Member reservations: golf, spa, fitness, dining, outdoor pursuits, lodging, transportation, off-property excursions, and other personalized experiences.
- Create itineraries as needed for Members, guests and prospects
- Assist other Managers and General Managers with special services and marketing efforts
- Collaborate and communicate with the corporate team
- Facilitate the new-member processes and orientation
- Update amenities and offerings lists as needed; circulate to management and the corporate team
- Execute ‘WOW Moments’ for Members and guests on a regular basis
- Work with Sales Services to ensure a memorable experience is created for all prospects
- Organize Club photos, Dropbox and flash drives
- Create event publications such as memory books, special occasion photos, etc.
- Assist other Managers and departments with tasks or requests
- Assist Residential Services with arrivals, making sure units are ‘marketing ready.’
- Take pictures of Members and Member events (using the Club’s camera)
- Write and place a handwritten welcome note for every Member and guest in unit (if applicable)
- Ensure Club calendars, guides and brochures are created and accessible, both print and electronic versions (update themed with the corporate team regularly)
- Keep Member Services areas, work space and storage organized
- Keep supplies stocked at all times; reorder as needed
- Answer phone calls and emails appropriately; assist coordinators as needed
- Document all requests and tasks in the Activity Log or WonderList App
- Attend all scheduled meetings and events communicated by the General Manager
- Lead by example
- Continually update member preference database
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher
- Experience in the Hospitality and Service Industries
- Proven success as a Manager; minimum of two years’ experience
- A four-year college degree in Communications, Management, Marketing or Hospitality
- Impeccable work ethic, leadership skills, and goal-oriented attitude
