Job Description

This individual will be involved in the educational development of employees in all areas of Information Security. The scope of this position includes the development of new and maintenance of existing Information Security Education & Training content including User Guides, Reference Guides, FAQs, presentations, recording content and delivering that content primarily by way of online tools and in person when required. This individual will make recommendations of content to develop or revise based on high-level directives and business requirements, proactively research content subject areas, identify and engage contributing contacts and develop content ready for learner consumption. An additional primary responsibility of the role will be developing communication content across all Information Security pillars for distribution to audiences throughout the enterprise, including security alerts, general announcements and all other security end user communications. This resource will also maintain the Information Security Education & Training SharePoint web page and all related content.

  • Develop, maintain and deliver Information Security Training content in print and recorded formats.
  • Identify additional opportunities for training and development of supporting artifacts.
  • Develop and deliver Information Security communications on behalf of all Information Security
  • Teams.
  • Ensure communications messages are consistent across all mediums and across different teams
  • of the security organization.
  • Research subject matter areas and identify and engage contact sources for use in training
  • content development.
  • Receive, vet and communicate new incoming training requests for potential development.
  • Actively manage the Information Security Training and Education Calendar.
  • Coordinate with Human Resource team to assign mandatory training.
  • Produce metrics reporting of training delivery.
  • Ongoing review and maintenance of Information Security Training and Education website and
  • content to ensure accuracy and currency at all times and to identify additional enhancement,
  • maintenance or retirement where appropriate.
  • Monitor Information Security trends and practices to align training delivery and timelines with
  • current regulatory requirements, standards, and suggest or implement enhancements for
  • continuous process improvements.
  • Identify and recommend alternative methods/mechanism for training content delivery
  • Create and deliver presentations to individual and group audiences when required.
  • Assist in support of Security Awareness and Communication program activities as required



    • Training Content Development and Delivery, Documentation or Writing experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
    • Other combinations of education, experience, or training that may be considered in substitution
    • for the minimum requirements: A relevant combination of education and work experience, as
    • described in above, may be substituted on a year for year basis.
    • Preferred education and/or experience: Experience working in cross-departmental teams and
    • leading efforts through collaboration and influence.
    • Specialized training, certifications, or other special requirements:
    • Ability to deliver training content to small and large groups of learners, both online and in person.
    • An intermediate working knowledge of content development and delivery solutions and tools (e.g. Captivate, Webex, Microsoft Office Products, Sharepoint).
    • Strong Written and Communication skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision (i.e. self-motivated and
    • willing to stretch to meet important deadlines).
    • Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members,
    • leadership and vendors.
    • Teamwork: works professionally and collaboratively while demonstrating respect for the time,

    Managing Priorities: is able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.

    • 3+ years developing, executing and/or facilitating corporate training programs.
    • 1+ years of overall healthcare and IT experience
