Job Description

You will be required to manage and develop a team of ‘best in industry’ field and desk based Mobile Specialists. You will promote a professional, reseller partner centric, can win/must win culture through both your own team and the wider Digital Wholesale Solutions (DWS) organisation where the service we deliver to our reseller partners is at the centre of everything we do.
Through this team, and leveraging the wider business resources, you will contribute significantly to helping the business achieve its revenue and gross profit goals. This would be achieved by meeting and ideally exceeding set sales targets through: 1) minimising churn of existing revenues, 2) increasing existing revenue streams, 3) cross-selling new products into existing resellers and 4) on-boarding new growth orientated resellers and 5) delivering exemplary levels of service.


• To achieve and ideally exceed your sales target(s), whilst keeping achievement on track on a monthly year to date target basis
• To build, develop and retain a class leading team of sales professionals
• To ensure the visions and goals of DWS are communicated and understood across your team
• To establish strategic relationships with key reseller partners and supplier partners, both internal and external
• To build relationships to improve operational effectiveness with the other functional teams within DWS
• To take a participative role in developing the sales organisation and wider DWS business to deliver challenging yet achievable year on year growth aspirations
• To work throughout the year to achieve an increasing Net Promoter Score (NPS) relating to the customer advocacy of the partners in your region

The allocation of sales targets across your teams
• To regular visit existing and prospective resellers in your region
• To accompany your field sales personnel on reseller visits

Provide coaching and guidance to the individuals in your team and, where appropriate, to other DWS personnel
• In addition to meeting or ideally exceeding sales targets, you will need to deliver against any other business objectives and individual key performance indicator targets
• Attend monthly or ad-hoc Sales Director meetings
• Ensure monthly team meetings and 121’s are completed and the associated minutes/notes are taken, actioned and reviewed at subsequent meetings
• Establish a training and development plan for individuals within your team
• Create a succession plan for the various roles/territories within your team
• To work closely with the other operational teams within Daisy Wholesale
• To build and maintain a pipeline of sales activities to support the achievement of sales targets
• To work closely with the DBAM and other sales specialist teams.
• Ensure up to date records are maintained on our CRM system (MS Dynamics 365)
• Develop and execute regionally focused reseller events in support of achieving your sales targets
• Create and deliver successful customer and product presentations and proposals
• To keep up to date with the marketplace / industry in which DWS operates
• Be vigilant for possible fraudulent activity
• As a Manager of staff, you must ensure members of your team are aware of and comply with DWS security and Health and safety policies
• Carry out any ‘ad hoc’ assignments as and when required
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
• Demonstrable sales experience in the competitive mobile communications arena
• Demonstrable achievement of sales targets
• Field sales experience
• A strong understanding of the mobile landscape
• Solid sales skills including lead generation, pipeline management, forecasting and closing.
• A strong motivator
• Ability to develop strategic relationships at a senior level
• Ability to communicate and generate business at all levels
• Strong verbal, written and presentational skills
• Sales Management experience in the Telecoms or IT arenas would be an advantage
• Experience in working within an indirect channel model would be an advantage
