Job Description

The Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Treasury function through detailed forecasting, analysis, and transaction execution. The Senior Treasury Analyst role will be primarily focused on daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and the daily management of cash levels to ensure our global account structure is adequately funded while also reducing foreign exchange (FX) exposure. This position reports to the Director of Treasury.

Treasury Analysis and Reporting

  • Coordinate daily global cash position with off-shore resources to ensure adequate liquidity, anticipating short-term borrowing needs and appropriately investing excess cash balances, and disbursement administration
  • Update, maintain and reconcile a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast
  • Update, maintain, and reconcile monthly hedging model
  • Monitor and identify global foreign exchange risks and interest rate exposures relative to corporate policy. Recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Execute appropriate currency trades within Policy specifications to manage foreign exchange risk
  • Prepare internal and external reporting, as required by senior management, lenders, and the board. Work closely with key stakeholders including accounting, FP&A, and operations to ensure alignment of forecasts and insight into operational requirements.
  • Assist in the development of policies, procedures, operational controls, and standards. Ensure compliance in these areas including internal controls.
  • Develop and maintain bank fees analysis
  • Perform additional analyses and detailed modelling, as required
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

  Required / Minimum:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel based modelling / ability to quickly manipulate large data sets with complex formulas
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in Treasury and or FP&A
  • Strong understanding of business concepts and accounting, and a general familiarity with corporate cash management and foreign exchange
  • Demonstrated experience achieving deadlines and effectively managing multiple priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and ability to multitask on competing priorities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as effectively within a team

  Preferred:

  • CPA or CTP Certification
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office beyond Excel (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
