Job Description

As an Account Strategist, you will:


  • Work in tandem with the Digital Sales Leaders to identify and review top prospects to maximize sales pipeline potential

  • Provide the sales team with all necessary data and research from analytics, third-party analysis tools, and competitive info to include in a campaign recommendation and to a secure a large sale

  • Use data to help the sales teams determine channels to focus on 

  • Accompany sales teams on initial client consultation meetings


  •  Participate in sales pitch development
  • Create campaign architecture and participate in sales presentations


  •  Optimization, analysis and performance management of top-tier campaigns
  • Work closely with corporate operations on concepts to optimize return and identify areas of opportunity

  • Understand how all digital channels work together in real time and make changes to campaigns to increase performance

  • Present data and reporting to client as part of a retention strategy

  • Set up analytics to track attribution, post-click /post view conversions, return on ad spend, and e-commerce campaign performance

  • Communicate with internal and external customers to keep them up to date and on task through the implementation process 


  • Expert working knowledge and understanding of Google AdWords, Google Analytics, goals/conversion tracking and attribution modeling

  • Proficiency in building reports, goals, views, and KPIs with Google Analytics. Experience in Omniture a plus

  • Versed in the workings and requirements of running an AdWords campaign and can use the data to make optimization recommendations, campaign changes and additions, as well as research on keyword and channel expansions 

  • Deep understanding and experience with online advertising platforms and environments (including but not limited to): Display advertising including Ad Exchanges, DSP, RTB, SEM, SEO, Mobile, Video, and social advertising concepts

  • Superior project management skills from project inception to project execution within a matrix environment across multiple internal departments and vendor groups

  • Versed in 3rd party resources to conduct market share opportunity based on the competitive landscape

  • Strong relationship building and the ability to work within a team environment

  • Comfortable with analyzing data to solve complex problems and applying it for customer solutions

  • Versed in 3rd party resources to conduct market share opportunity based on the competitive landscape

  • Must have strong Excel skills and experience creating ad hoc reports and dashboards using web analytic tools and by querying and combining different dataset

  • Synthesize customer data to develop strategies for customer acquisition and retention

  • Experience in automotive, retail, and/or e-commerce a plus
