At Digica, the Project Manager role is both demanding and rewarding. It provides an opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI/ML solutions in various industries. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, much flexibility and creativity and a hands-on approach to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading project teams and coordinating key project activities.
• Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project team.
• Ensuring that all project participants understand the goal, context, and next steps.
• Planning and controlling  project timeline, budget, and scope to ensure successful delivery.
• Measuring and reporting project performance to key stakeholders.
• Managing risks and ensuring quality through best practices in software development and AI/ML projects.
• Facilitating meetings, preparing reports, and supporting the project team in administrative processes.

Nice to have

• Lead and oversee IT projects in public sector, ensuring compliance with regulations and funding requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with NCBR guidelines and procedures.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and coordinating IT/software projects, preferably in AI/ML, Data Science, Web, enterprise, mobile, or embedded domains.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management best practices.
• Experience in the full software development lifecycle.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in English and Polish.
• Technical knowledge or background in software development / Artificial Intelligence is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Typical Projects

• Responsibility for the outcome, from planning to execution and adaptation.
• Research and development of new methods, algorithms, and proof of concepts.
• Implementation and industrialization of solutions developed in earlier phases.
• Use of project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, and Google Workspace.
• Utilize Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

This is a full-time position based in our office in Łódź, with the possibility of 20% remote work per week.
