Diamond Kinetics (DK) is seeking a talented individual to join our Product team as a Creative Pipeline Engineer. This person possesses a unique blend of technical skills, creativity and a deep understanding of the baseball world. The person in this role will work closely with the Product team to shape the presentation and manage the scalability of auto-generated content sourced from DK’s partners, including Major League Baseball. The ideal candidate has experience transforming raw content sources and assets  into incredible media experiences at automated scale.

This position reports to the Director of Product Content.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Product team to execute creative ideas for digital content that will be featured in the DK app and/or shared on DK’s social channels

• Create automated pipelines to transfer video, 3d assets, and other resources into immersive content experiences.

• Developing automated processes to retrieve  assets from existing stores and prepare them for use in the creative pipeline

• Design and implement creative elements: custom graphics, interstitials, visual effects and templates that align with DK’s brand and can be applied to MLB video highlights and other partner content.

• Automate and optimize the sourcing, packaging and delivery of DK partner content with creative elements

• Apply an established  visual style and craft user experiences for games and quizzes in the DK app using data and content from DK partners.

Experience Required

• BA or BS in Multimedia, Film Production, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.

• Strong proficiency in Python (or alternative scripting and automation tools), with the ability to automate and optimize the video content creation process

• Applied experience interacting with 3D graphics software at the programmatic level

• Proven experience designing creative assets with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work

• Experience in creating digital content at scale, ensuring a consistent and high-quality output.

Additional Desired Experience

• Experience with ffmpeg or other programmatic video editing tools

• Proficient in using Premiere Pro and After Effects

• Strong understanding of baseball metrics and terminology 

• Ability to illustrate data and metrics

• Familiarity with automation and scripting within Creative Suite (Adobe Scripting)

• Start-up and/or early-stage company experience.
