Job Description

WHAT'S THE JOB?

We are seeking a professional and organized Cleaning Supervisor for a fixed-term position in Petawawa, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of cleaning staff, assigning tasks and schedules
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met
  • Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
  • Address customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally
  • Prepare reports on cleaning operations and staff performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and best practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
  • Proficiency in creating and managing schedules
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the cleaning industry
  • Experience with inventory management and budget control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; cleaning industry certifications preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Physical stamina to perform occasional cleaning tasks and equipment demonstrations
