Job Description
WHAT'S THE JOB?
A Tim Hortons supervisor is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Team leadership
A supervisor should be a role model who motivates their team to provide excellent service. They should also build positive relationships with their team and promote a respectful environment.
Training
A supervisor should train team members on food safety procedures, quality, and cleanliness. They should also help identify training needs and opportunities for improvement.
Operational tasks
A supervisor should ensure that all restaurant policies are followed, including cash policies, meal and break policies, and food safety policies. They should also help solve operational issues and ensure that the restaurant is ready to open, close, or rush.
Customer service
A supervisor should develop strategies to achieve customer satisfaction goals. They should also resolve customer complaints and respond to guest injuries and property damage.
Cost control
A supervisor should help control costs by reviewing portion control, minimizing waste, and ensuring high quality food preparation. They should also manage inventory and ordering.
A supervisor at Tim Hortons should be willing to work flexible shifts, weekend availability is must.

Qualifications
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Must have proven Tim Hortons experience (2 years preferred).
- Must be able to commute to Mississauga, transit is available.
Basic Qualifications
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
- Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
- Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
