As a Site Supervisor, reporting to the Manager, you will supervise the cleaning and services of an assigned area within the budget required to maintain company and customer quality standards.

Your work will include:

  • Overseeing daily operations of the custodial staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure high service levels.
  • Developing and managing work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for tasks, events, and special projects.
  • Conducting regular inspections to maintain high cleaning standards and addressing deficiencies promptly.
  • Managing inventory and supply levels, ensuring timely ordering and restocking of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Enforcing health and safety regulations, ensuring staff use proper protective equipment and follow safety protocols.
  • Responding to emergency cleaning situations quickly and effectively.
  • Coordinating with vendors for specialty cleaning services or equipment maintenance.
  • Monitoring the custodial budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Providing ongoing training and professional development for custodial team members.
  • Maintaining accurate records of custodial tasks, inspections, performance, and incidents, and preparing reports for management.
  • Organizing and supervising large-scale cleaning projects, ensuring timely completion and high standards.
  • Evaluating and recommending improvements to custodial operations and introducing new technologies to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • At least 4 years of experience in cleaning and supervisory roles within a large facility.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
  • Flexibility with start and end times, including the ability to work weekends and statutory holidays as required.
  • A clear criminal background check is mandatory for this position.
