Job Description

As a Custodial Associate, reporting to the Custodial Supervisor, you will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks in designated areas of the location.  You will ensure a sanitary environment, securing and maintaining tools/equipment used to perform the day-to-day work

This position is for school in Aylmer. 

Hours 5 pm-9 pm Monday to Friday in school year, also might be times to cover 3-10:30 if a person is off sick. 

Your work will include:

  • Common area cleaning and washrooms
  • Collecting and transporting garbage
  • Sweeping and mopping the floor and vacuuming the carpets
  • High dusting the common area
  • Cleaning windows
  • Operating the auto scrubber
  • Operating the carpet extractor
  • Snow removal and ice melt application   

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • A great attitude!
  • At least one (1) year experience in cleaning.
  • Able to communicate with supervisor, Client 
  • Able to lift up to 25-30 lbs
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials.
  • A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
  •  Must be able to walk, stand and bend for long period of time
