WHAT’S THE JOB?
Join our NRB Modular Solutions team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.

As an Exterior Finisher, reporting to the Lead Hand, you will assist in the construction of structures made of wood, wood substitutes, steel and other materials. 

This position is safety sensitive and requires drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.

Wage range: $28.00 - 35.00/hr.

Your work will include:

• Fabricate metal using the slitter and the break.
• Size and bend metal flashings according to specifications.
• Install and fabricate ductwork as needed.
• Direct workload for apprentice.
• Package and store flashing profiles.
• Organize the metal shop for efficiency.
• Custom sheet metal jobs as required by customers and as directed by Production supervisor
• Install exterior siding as needed.
• Required to work with the following tools: sawsall, skill saw, chop saw, table saw, radial arm saw, drills and air tools.
• Complete daily Job Hazards Assessments and Pre Job Task Hazard Analysis forms.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Relevant education background or Red Seal/ Journeyman certification is considered an asset
• Dmonstrated knowledge of the construction/manufacturing industry.
• Experience as a carpenter and/or sheet metal worker is required.
• Able to operate all hand and power tools required to perform tasks specific to trade.
• Able to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines.
• Perform heavy manual labor, including bending, stooping, reaching, carrying and lifting heavy objects weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Requires manual dexterity of both hands and feet to perform activities such as lifting overhead, twisting and bending while lifting, climbing ladders and stairs while wearing protective equipment, and working in confined spaces, including repetitive arm motion below, at, and above shoulder level.
• Walks approximately 2-4 kilometers per day on a variety of surfaces including, concrete and gravel.
