WHAT’S THE JOB?
Join our NRB Modular Solutions team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.

As a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year Apprentice Plumber, reporting to the Lead Hand, you will be responsible for plumbing related tasks involving the construction and renovation of relocatable modular structures. This position installs, repairs, and maintains pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal according to plumbing scopes and prints. 

Your work will include:

• Complete tasks related to the planning, laying out of the plumbing components of the construction, repair and assembly of temporary and permanent buildings, additions, partitions and wood structures and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Read blueprints and specifications.
• Tends to the maintenance and preventative maintenance programs including cleaning for all plumbing, heating, and air conditioning, and air and vacuum related equipment.
• Tests repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Maintains a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques.
• Accountable and responsible for the quality of all plumbing work performed on manufactured product to ensure it meets all company and/or contract standards with recommendations for improvements where needed.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Must be a registered Apprentice;
• Working and practical knowledge of the applications of plumbing techniques and methods;
• Able to operate all hand and power tools required to perform tasks specific to trade.

This position is safety sensitive and requires drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.
