WHAT'S THE JOB?

• HMI/SCADA system development and programming
• Basic programming and implementation of control code for multi-axis servo systems and motion controllers
• Energy monitoring solutions and implementation and monitoring of such devices.
• Ability to read drawings, manuals, and s Basic programming and implementation of control code for multi-axis servo systems and motion controllers.
• specifications and write the corresponding code.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting
• HMI design, programming, configuration, testing
• Project management and documentation
• Ability to document processes and programs to clearly communicate intended functionality.
• 24v control panel wiring, 24v control circuit design
• Communicate effectively with all associates and customers of Linear Transfer Automation
• Encourage a team atmosphere in a Mechanical and Electrical environment.
• Review software development with management on a regular basis
• Motion system setup, configuration, testing, tuning.
• All duties as required by Plant Supervisor/Plant Manager/Facility General Manager

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technologist
• Hands-on experience in automated control system design and troubleshooting preferred.
• Problem solving ability.
• Working knowledge of standard industrial communication protocols such as Device net, Ethernet, Profibus, Ether CAT
• Experience with any of the following: Siemens (S7), Allen-Bradley (CompactLogix, Controllogix), Mitsubishi (Q/R series), and Bosch-Rexroth (Indramat – MLC) is a strong asset.
• Ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail is a requirement.
• Well organized and capable on metering and monitoring and arranging reports
