WHAT’S THE JOB?
Join our NRB Modular Solutions team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move construction forward.

As a Mud and Taper, reporting to the Lead Hand, you will apply drywall mud to ceilings and walls of buildings. Mud and taping experience are a must. 

Day shift (Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm) or Afternoon shift (Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2am) are available. *There is a $2/hr premium for working the afternoon shift*

$500 Signing Bonus available to new hires after 3 months of employment!

Your work will include:

• Tape, mud/fill and sand drywall mud to prepare for paint. Medium to fast paced work environment. Basic hand tools and lights are required.
• Embed tape, mud screws, mud inside/outside corners, mud butt joints, mud 3-ways.
• Sand all areas of drywall mud with pole sanders, sanding sponge, and power sander.
• Level 4 finished quality required. Residential style home in an indoor facility.
• Travel to the same location every for indoor steady continuous work.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• At least 2+ years of experience with taping and mudding is ideal.
• Knowledge of tools and techniques such as: inside/outside corners, 3-way corners, etc.
• Perform heavy manual labor, including bending, stooping, reaching, carrying and lifting heavy objects weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Requires manual dexterity of both hands and feet to perform activities such as lifting overhead, twisting and bending while lifting, climbing ladders and stairs while wearing protective equipment, including repetitive arm motion below, at, and above shoulder level.
• Walks approximately 1 kilometers per day on a variety of surfaces including, concrete and gravel.
